The effects of the SuperMoon !

There is an explanation that helps us understand the main difference between a supermoon and any other type of moon. In astronomy, a supermoon is identified due to its proximity to Earth.

The moon attains its splender and largest volume when it is closest to the Earth’s surface. In general, this type of moon is always a full moon. Although it is worth nothing that not all full moons are supermoons.

The first person to have spoken, in scientific terms, about the supermoon was the astrologer. From a theoretical point of view, it is said that when this type of phenomenon happens, the moon is up to 6% closer to Earth than usual.

We don’t even realize we are seeing a supermoon, or that in most cases, its presence is evident. Depending on the movements of the stars, there may be more than one supermoon per year.

The Phases of the Moon !

Spiritual speaking, it is worth highlighting the feminine energy that the moon emits. It is a strong energy, a product if its solar reflections.

Depending on the different phases of the moon, the energy levels can change dramatically. In the case of the supermoon, this energy can be very useful in terms of spiritual development.

Its effects directly influence our mood, making everything more bearable and allowing us to contemplate life from a kinder point of view. Any shadow in our hearts can dissapear if we expose ourselves to the light of the supermoon.

SuperMoon Health Benefits !

It has been proven that some people are very sensitive to the full moon. Different syptoms may occur, such as difficulty falling asleep. This shows the influence the moon can have on us.

These cases are rare and in general, the supermoon has very intense healing powers.

The SuperMoon helps us to:

  • Balance our emotions.
  • Strengthen our immune system.
  • Improve blood circulation and digestion.

You will feel an inner peace that will not only expand to your mind, but also to the rest of your body. The emotional healing will be progressive, but constant. Even situations from the past which were a heavy burden will finally be processed and left behind.

Meaning Of The SuperMoon…

The arrival of the supermoon is linked to a new discovery. This type of moon will open your eyes to situations and events that we were not able to interpret correctly before.

Suddenly everthing will be clearer, thanks to the force of the light and its power to transform. The light will guide us on our path and revitalize our spirit.

●  The Poles Of The Moon:

The supermoon also represents a change not only in the way we perceive things, but it also shows us new approaches, in which something negative will become positive.

For example, if we have problems in our relationship, we will be able to stop only seeing the defects of other people. The idea is to keep what is good, accept people as they are, and discover their inner beauty.

●  Lost Contacts:

In the same way, this moon will allow us to rekindle relationships or friendships that time and distance have separated. Although there are people who are always in our hearts and who we constantly remember, for some reason or another, they are no longer part of our inner circle.

During this supermoon, it is the right time to get back in touch with those people. Sometimes it is less complicated than it seems. A greeting or a little message can trigger a rekindling.

Breaking The Spell:

Being in tune with the supermoon can also end negative streaks. When it seems that luck has abandoned you, the moon can come to your rescue. In life, there are times when we go from one disappointment to another. You must always remain positive and trust that everything will change.

Remember, bad luck is short-lived, and there is no better time to leave it behind than during the supermoon. We should not forget that the supermoon has strong healing and regenerative power. With it, a new cycle full of hope and in which great things can be expected.

This means that we always see the same side of the moon. The other side is known as the dark side of the moon, but its only dark from our perspective when really it gets as much light as the rest.

Just let yourself be carried away by the revitalizing energy of the moon. Let the supermoon bathe you in its magical light. If you see through the window, go outside and focus, so that its light enters each of your pores.

What Are The Different Phases?

When it comes to the different moon phases, there are a lot of terms to wrap your head around:

  • Blue Moon
  • Harvest Moon
  • Thunder Moon
  • Waxing Crecent
  • Waning Gibbous and so on.

Trying to understand the power of the moon’s energy, and how we’re affected by the moon cycle, is impossible without first coming to terms with the different ways we see and experience the moon as a result of its rotation and orbit.

What Is The Moon Cycle?

The best place to start when discussing the moon is with astronomy. From our perspective, the moon goes through different phases of visibility. The two extremes of this are the full moon, where we can see a full circle of the moon’s surface, and a new moon, where none of the moon’s surface is visible.

We see the moon’s surface due to the reflection of sunlight. But its important to understand that half of the surface is always facing the sun. That never changes. What does change is how much of the light is reflected towards Earth. As the moon otbits our planet, it can reflect all of the light ( full moon ) or none of the light ( new moon ). How much of the moon we see is largely based on the position of the sun and the Earth, rather than anything the moon is doing. The speed at which the moon rotates on its axis matches the speed that it orbits our planet.

There are 8 primary moon phases. While some of these phases reflect the same amount of sunlight as others, the appearance of the moon is different from each one. By exploring each of them one at a time, we can demonstrate one full moon cycle, which usually takes about 27 days. We’ll start with the new moon and work our way around each of the moon phases.

The 8 Main Moon Phases !

From Darkness To Light. 1. New Moon

The New Moon represents the point where none of the moon’s reflected light is visible from Earth. To us, the moon disappears from view. Sometimes we can see its outline faintly in the night’s sky, but it isn’t the bright, glowing orb that we’re familiar with. We’ll consider this the first of the moon phases, and it happens when the moon’s position is between the phases, and it happens when the moon’s position is between the Earth and the sun.

2. Waxing Crecent

As the Moon being to orbit about 45 degrees around the Earth, we enter the Waxing Crecent phase. We may associate the term ‘waxing’ with the removal of hair, but in relation to the moon phases, it suggest that the visible surface of the moon is increasing in size. The word crecent simply refers to the shape, which is curved and thicker in the middle than the ends.

3. First Quarter

As the moon reaches 90 degrees from it’s starting point, a quarter of the moon’s surface is visible (half of a full moon). At this point the Earth and the moon are in line with one another, facing towards the sun.

4. Waxing Gibbous

The 4th stage of the moon phases is known as a waxing gibbous. At this point in the moon cycle, we can see about 75% of a full moon. The Moon is now on the other side of Earth from the sun.

5. Full Moon

This moon phase doesn’t require much of an explanation. We’re all familiar with a full moon. It’s when 100% of one side of the moon’s surface is visible. It appears as a full circle in the sky and tends to be its brightest as it’s reflecting the most sunlight back to Earth. We see this phase when the Earth is between the moon and the sun.

From Light To Darkness

6. Waning Gibbous

As the moon passes the 180-degree mark of the moon cycle, its surface appears to shrink as less reflected sunlight reaches Earth. Unlike a waxing gibbous, which has darkness on the left-hand sinde, a waning gibbous has darkness on the right.

7. Third Quarter

At the 270-degree mark of the moon cycle, there is now only 50% of the reflected surface visible to us. We sometimes refer to the quarter stages (first and third) as ‘half-moons’. Of course, quarter moon would be more accurate as we only ever see half of the moon, even during a full moon.

8. Waning Crecent

The 8th and final stage of the moon cycle is the waning crecent. What we see in the sky is essentially a mirror image of moon stages this is the last one before we return to another new moon, marking the end of the 27-day cycle.
